I am heartbroken to announce the death of my loving mother, Sybil “Shirley” DesVignes. She passed away at the age of 85 on July 27, 2022. Her battle with challenging medical issues in recent years showed her courage in facing life’s challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, my mom came out as a true warrior.

My mom served as a Registered Nurse for many years and enjoyed every moment of caring and nurturing her community back to health. She had an infectious smile which permeated everyone she encountered.

Sybil is survived by her three children, Roderick, Derrick, Leanne, three grandchildren and two great grands. Her charisma and cheerful attitude will be sorely missed, but we will continue to honor her legacy.
