Margaret Lois “Maggie” Tarpinian, age 57 years, of North Carolina, originally of Brooklyn, N.Y. passed away on August29, 2018.
Maggie was born on November 15, 1960 in County Cork, Ireland, and is the daughter of the late Robert E. and Margaret T. (Davin) Tarpinian.
She was a graduate of St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights, N.Y., with a Bachelors of Science degree. She was an accomplished dancer for most of her life, performing professionally throughout N.Y.C. She was an avid animal lover, she loved reading, and more than anything she loved making people laugh.
Survivors include her sister Mary Agnes “M.A.” Tarpinian, her first cousins Daniel J. Haran, Davena Tarpinian, Gerri Tarpinian Doval, Dorothy Tarpinian Gonzalez, all of Florida, and cousins MaryAnn Boulton and Patrick “Buddy” Clune also of Florida.
Besides her parents, Maggie is predeceased by her aunt Marie Lois Haran, and her uncle Daniel Patrick Haran.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend memorial services at The Guarino Funeral Home, 9222 Flatlands Avenue, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11236, telephone number 1-718-257-2890, on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
Interment of her cremains will take place on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at 10:00 A.M. at The Canarsie Cemetery, 1370 Remsen Avenue, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11236, telephone number 1-718-251-6934.
